Leonardo DiCaprio, Margot Robbie, Rachel McAdams, and our own Andrew Scott were just some of the big names spotted on the red carpet of the 33rd Annual Gotham Awards.

An outlier of awards season, the annual ceremony made headlines in 2021 when they adjusted their categories for acting awards to no longer be defined by gender.

Instead, there are 10 actors nominated for lead performance, and another 10 up for supporting performances. Winners are chosen by small committees of film professionals, critics and journalists.

Traditionally, the ceremony is known for celebrating independent films, however, the Gotham Film and Media Institute removed its $35 million budget cap requirement for this year's nominees.

Many of this year's contenders come from the world of indie and arthouse, but some bigger productions like blockbuster sensation Barbie and TV hit The Last of Us made the cut.

Andrew Haigh's All of Us Strangers, starring Irish actors Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal, earned an incredible four nods, but sadly went home without a win.

Styled by Warren Alfie Baker, Irish man Andrew Scott attended the star-studded ceremony wearing a custom-made Prada suit, complete with matching cummerbund.

Groomed by Jessica Ortiz, the Dublin man looked particularly dapper while walking the red carpet at Cipriani Wall Street in NYC.
