The release date has been announced for a new comedy series featuring Irish comedians and hosted by Graham Norton.
LOL: Last One Standing Ireland will be available to stream on Prime Video from Friday 19 January, with the teaser trailer for the show released today.
The format is already successful in many countries, with this being the Irish version.
The series will feature some of Ireland's prominent comedic talent, including Aisling Bea, Amy Huberman, Catherine Bohart, David McSavage and Deirdre O’Kane.
Also featuring are Emma Doran, Jason Byrne, Martin Angolo, Paul Tylak and Tony Cantwell.
Presenter Graham Norton will oversee the ten comedians who will be brought together to make each other laugh by using every unpredictable comedic tool in the box – but they are not permitted to laugh themselves.
The comedian who outlasts the rest to become the overall winner will win €50,000 for their charity of choice.
The teaser provides a playful montage of all ten comedians struggling to hold in their laughs, but failing at the last moment, resulting in a stern-faced Graham Norton flashing a red card.
