This is a global phenomenon. We always tend to spend a “little more” than our budgets in any trip, especially the ones with families. However, price hikes are common these days, operators mostly don’t talk about the hidden charges (visitor entry fees, extra of anything etc.). The best way is to always maintain a buffer; the more the merrier. Giving a mere percentage would be wrong since it’s relative. Speaking deeply with operators regarding every charge is a good move. Until the time you have the bargaining chip, use it. Once you pay them the money, they tend to skip/avoid deep questions.
