I stay organized by prioritizing urgent cases first and keeping clear records of each patient's needs. I also communicate regularly with the healthcare team to ensure no concerns are overlooked. BY using checklists and setting reminders, I make sure every patient receives the attention they need without delay.

Staying organized while managing multiple patient advocacy cases requires a structured approach. Here’s a quick outline of what I do in my role at LGTC group: 1. Centralized Patient Tracking System • EHR & Spreadsheet Backup: Use your EHR system for official documentation, but also maintain a secure spreadsheet (Google Sheets or Excel) to track advocacy cases. 2. Task & Appointment Management 3. Communication & Documentation 4. Case Prioritization System 5. Weekly & Monthly Reviews

In our patient advocacy work, we ensure organization through regular medical briefings that bring together a team of coordinators and part of the administrative staff. It is also essential to have an IT representative present to continuously improve the patient management system. Agile responsiveness is key, and we maintain a dedicated team focused on the continuous development of the system to optimize workflows and enhance patient support.

Managing multiple patient advocacy cases requires a structured approach, including a centralized system for tracking cases, clear prioritization based on urgency, detailed documentation of all interactions, and effective time management with scheduled reminders. Using templates for common tasks, maintaining open communication with all stakeholders, and delegating when possible can help streamline the process. I am inherently a creative person & I have never been very organized ! I delegate that ti those who are inherently organized & more linear in their approach to tasks. Therefore it is crucial when doing such important work that can save & change lives- that one finds the people and systems that do this best & have enough industry experience to keep up with the ever changing challenges encountered in this important field . Flexibility & patience with an eye for detail is key. If you haven’t found the right help yet , dont give up ! It took me years to find my assistant and she is a dream as her skilset compliments my deficits & vice versa . So I make sure to be a valuable asset for her & am a wellspring of inspiration when she’s in need.

I remain calm and focused by prioritising task and using effective time management. Taking a deep breath and maintaining my composure. I assess patient’s needs and prioritise task based on urgency and patient safety. Effective communication with patients and their families. Multi-tasking, Organisational skills and teamwork.
