Time Management Prioritize tasks: Use tools like the Eisenhower Matrix to categorize tasks into urgent and important, important but not urgent, urgent but not important, and neither urgent nor important. Focus on completing the urgent and important tasks first, and schedule the important but not urgent ones for later. Delegate or eliminate the tasks that are not crucial. Create a detailed schedule: Allocate specific time slots for different tasks and activities. This helps you stay organized and ensures that you give each task the appropriate amount of time and attention. any thing more?

Job stress can feel overwhelming, but perspective shifts and body-centered practices help immensely. I recall a demanding role where project deadlines piled up. Instead of spiraling, I used somatic exercises like deep belly breathing during breaks to calm my nervous system. NLP reframing techniques also proved powerful—changing “I’m stuck” to “I’m learning to navigate challenges” brought a sense of empowerment. Combining mindful body awareness, positive self-talk, and prioritizing tasks transformed stress into manageable energy. Emotional Regulation is the key to stress management.

List and spreadsheets are your best friends, because what you need to do is prioritise. Not all jobs need to be done ASAP, not all tasks need to be performed by you and not everyone is VIP. You can plan, postpone, delegate, ask for clarifications, ask for deadline extensions and (something I'm still struggling with) say NO. Once you gain the clarity of who needs to do what by when, that sense of overwhelm becomes much more manageable.

Sometimes I feel overwhelmed by work which is normally when you’re involved in different projects at the same time. What helps me is writing everything down to see what really matters, to structure my work and follow one by one. Not everything is urgent, and I don’t have to do it all myself. It’s better to delegate some job if it’s not your responsibilities. I try to plan better, delegate when I can, ask for help or more time and I’m still learning to say “no” when needed. Once I know what needs to be done now and what can wait, things feel less stressful.

Break work into manageable steps to maintain momentum. Set boundaries to protect focus, and don’t hesitate to say no when necessary. Lean on your team collaboration eases the burden. Manage stress with short breaks, mindfulness, or exercise to stay sharp. Communicate proactively with stakeholders about realistic timelines. Most importantly, shift your mindset: pressure is temporary, but resilience and adaptability define long-term success. Stay composed, tackle one challenge at a time, and keep your goals in sight.

Lose the “JOB” and start your own business. If you’re willing to work 40-50-60 hrs a week for someone else’s dream; dedicate that same energy to for your own. Is it tough absolutely. Will it take time absolutely. Can you WFH, yes possibly forever. Can you write off expenses more than you could ever in a “JOB.” Create value for people and solve other people’s problems and the money will flow to you. You can make as mush as you are willing to work. No more fixed income business. As the great adage goes, you get out of something as to what you put into it. The faster you row, the faster you’ll go💪🏼 #sales #crm #digitalmarketing #technology #products #services #finance

STOP 🛑 Breathe. Break it down, write it all out and create a map or list of prioroties, keep it simple. Be realistic in your ability to do it all, communicate your timelines to others to set expectations and don’t afraid to be honest with those you feel you can be. It’s possible to be a real person and professional at the same time.

When work piles up and my mind starts racing, I’ve learned to hit pause. Just for a moment. I take a deep breath, notice what’s around me, and remind myself: right now, I’m okay. Stress usually comes from the past or the future—what went wrong, what’s coming next. Mindfulness pulls me back to the present, where I actually have control. One thing that helps? Before diving into the next task, I take 10 seconds to breathe and reset. It’s simple, but it works.

After navigating overwhelm through a 23-year career in logistics and supply chain—where pressure and tight deadlines were the norm—I've learned you don't escape overwhelm by doing more, but by doing differently. Pause with Purpose: Strategic pauses recalibrate priorities, creating clarity amid chaos. Leverage Automation: Delegate repetitive tasks to focus on strategic decisions rather than operational details. Anchor in Self-Worth: Recognizing my value isn't tied to relentless productivity empowers me to set boundaries and renegotiate expectations. It's not about swimming harder, but smarter.
