Below would be my approach to resolving the conflict: 1. Itemise the conflicts within the new protocols and what informs the changes in a meeting with the affected team. 2. Welcome the team's feedback and reaction to the new changes. 3. Involve subject matter experts to address the team's feedback with an aim to identifying agreed areas and those that need concensus. 4. Document agreeable solutions obtained collaboratively with the team for alignment.Check this against industry standards. 5. Have time boxed iterative meetings to fine tune on the resolutions. 6. Enforce ownership through training to set clarity on each stakeholder's responsibility. 6. Verify team's alignment and continually improve after rollout.

When your mobile communications team disagrees on new protocols, focus on aligning everyone with a common goal. Start by identifying the root cause of the conflict—misunderstanding or differing priorities. Break the protocol into smaller steps and assign roles to give each member ownership. Highlight shared successes to build trust and remind the team of their collective mission. Keep communication ongoing, so everyone feels heard and engaged in shaping the solution together.

In my experience, clashes of this nature come from poor planning. There's nothing more disruptive to teams than being handed large scale changes as "this is what we do now". It's disrespectful to not involve your people. Even when they're not making decisions directly, they should be a part of the process about imminent changes, scope, and raising those questions and concerns as they come. The best way to resolve most of these conflicts is to not let them happen in the first place. As a leader, your role is to serve your people.

To resolve the conflicts within the mobile communications team regarding new protocols, I would first take the time to understand the root cause of the disagreement. This involves speaking with team members individually and as a group to uncover the specific concerns driving the tension. Whether the conflict stems from technical feasibility,
