Throughout Leaving Cert 2023 RTÉ Learn teamed up with the Irish Second-Level Students' Union (ISSU) for our Leaving Cert Diary, so let's go one more time to see how it all went down on results day.
Thanks so much to all the students who shared their thoughts with everyone over the summer. Press play up top to hear from Róisín, Mohammad and new ISSU President Shari Irfan. They all seem happy with how it went.
You can see more instant reactions from the ISSU on RTÉ News' Insta!
A message from Shari
"I just wanted to give a massive shoutout and congrats to all of you who've just wrapped up your Leaving Certificate! You've tackled a tough challenge head-on, and now it's time to celebrate your hard work and dedication.
"These past years of studying, late-night cramming, and overcoming hurdles have brought you to this point. Remember, this certificate isn't just about the grades – it's a reflection of your growth, determination, and resilience.
"Whether you smashed it or faced a few bumps along the way, be proud of what you've achieved. Now, go out and enjoy some well-deserved relaxation and fun. The road ahead is full of possibilities, and you've got the tools to make your mark on the world."
The ISSU also want to highlight their supports services. They cover all things Leaving Cert and beyond. From appeals, advice, tips on finding accommodation for anyone going on to further education and more.
