in one of a series of films made on minority religions in Ireland for 'Jo-Maxi' a 13 year old Muslim Dubliner from the South Circular Road talks about his life and beliefs.

There are thousands of Muslims living in Dublin and we even have a mosque in Ballyhaunis.

Ali El Bakani originally from Pakistan, came to Dublin with his family when he was three years old. He describes an average day and how prayers fit into his daily schedule. Attending a Christian Brothers school where he feels that he is accepted and treated just like the rest of the boys, who are predominantly Christian. He also speaks about the Muslim traditions of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.
