The Solace of Artemis is a new poetry collection from Paula Meehan, who talks to RTÉ Arena above.
The poems which are grounding, provoking and uplifting in equal parts are divided into three sequences.
The first is The Ceremonials, the most recent work which she describes as "a place of consolation and wildness".
The second is Museum, a sequence commissioned by the Dublin Tenement Museum Project in 2019, and the third is For the Hungry Ghosts, her poem cycle inspired by the Hades episode of Joyce's Ulysses.
