Released in 2004, Joycesongs features the RTÉ Concert Orchestra performing songs that James Joyce sang himself or used in his writings, particularly in Ulysses, and include popular drinking songs, opera arias, music hall numbers and ballads.

The songs are performed by the RTÉ Concert Orchestra under the baton of Robert Houlihan - soloists include Owen Gilhooly, Elizabeth Woods, Emmanuel Lawler, Dáire Halpin, Derek Moloney and Frank Dunne, with pianist Pádhraic Ó'Cuinneagáin.
