Rachael Ingle has been appointed by the Minister for Finance as the next chair of the National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA).

She will succeed Susan Webb, whose term ends on December 22nd.

Rachael Ingle, who is the chief executive of Aon in Ireland, has been on the NTMA board for the last four years.

She is an actuary by profession and a former chairperson of the Irish Association of Pension Funds.

"Rachael Ingle will bring a wealth of experience to the role of Chair both from her extensive professional background and as a member of the NTMA since 2019," the minister, Michael McGrath said.

"I wish Rachael success during her term as chair."

Susan Webb has been chair of the organisation since last year.

"I'd also like to thank her for her significant contribution and commitment to the Board since its establishment in 2014," the minister added.

Ms Webb said that Rachael Ingle is well placed to make a valuable contribution to the NTMA over the term of her appointment.
