Speaking about the track, she says, "Lonely takes you behind the scenes of someone's life that people think is perfect. It highlights the club scene and life of a socialite who's always out on the town, but actually feels immense loneliness."
Tell us three things about yourself . . .
I have a puppy! I am 100% theatre kid. I'm actually super interested in neuroscience or anything having to do with neurology.
How would you describe your music?
I would describe my music as self-reflective with dark pop/alt-pop sensibilities.
Who are your musical inspirations?
My musical inspirations include Stevie Nicks, Lana Del Rey, Nessa Barrett, Lady Gaga, Amy Winehouse, and Miley Cyrus.
What was the first gig you ever went to?
Selena Gomez!! I forget which tour, but I was in 5th grade and it was so special.
What was the first record you ever bought?
Rumours by Fleetwood Mac.
What’s your favourite song right now?
What Goes Around...Comes Around by Justin Timberlake.
Favourite lyric of all time?
Honestly, I think I have to say the chorus of Vampire by Olivia Rodrigo. "I used to think I was smart, But you made me look so naïve, The way you sold me for parts, As you sunk your teeth into me, oh, Bloodsucker, fame f***er, Bleedin' me dry, like a goddamn vampire."
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
This is a tough one, but I have to choose my comfort song: Put Your Records On by Corinne Bailey Rae.
