Leinster's thrilling victory over champions Munster was the BKT United Rugby Championship game of the weekend from an Irish point of view and the two sides make up the bulk of our team this week.
Elsewhere, Connacht just missed out on a try-bonus point against the Bulls, while Ulster were pegged back by Glasgow after taking an early lead.
They also left Scotland empty-handed after a 33-20 loss.
This week's selection is below.
15. Simon Zebo (Munster)
Excellent return for an almost forgotten man on his season debut. Has been unlucky with injuries but showed what he can do when fully fit. Was a constant threat and linked play cleverly. The Cork man's step and run set up Craig Casey’s try-of-the-season contender. Made 67 metres with ball in hand.
14. Jordan Larmour (Leinster)

Among 15 Ireland internationals starting for Leinster, he was the only one who didn’t go to the World Cup and played like he had a point to prove. Larmour continued his early-season form, busy on and off the ball and always looking for a gap. Took what turned out to be the winning score superbly, beating three defenders close to the line.
13. Antoine Frisch (Munster)
The centre is becoming a vital cog in the Munster backline. Knows when to lay off a pass and was dependable taking the ball into contact. Ran a lovely support line and got a great offload away for Munster’s only try.
12. Garry Ringrose (Leinster)
The outside centre missed a tackle for Munster’s try but soon found his groove. Came on to the ball at pace and a line break almost led to a try in the first half. Had a great duel with the opposition midfield and made eight successful carries, the most in the game.
11. Byron Ralston (Connacht)
Connacht fell to a 53-27 loss in Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria, a venue no Irish team have won at. They will be frustrated that they didn’t manage another try, which would have resulted in a bonus point. Australian wing Ralston was Mack Hansen-like, coming in off his wing on numerous occasions to look for work. The 23-year-old clocked eight successful carries and three clean breaks.
10. Jack Crowley (Munster)
🦌 @MunsterRugby that was unbelievable 👏🔥

Really composed performance from the Munster out-half, who appears to be maturing with every outing. Was perfect off the tee and ran his backline superbly, looking every inch the top contender for the Ireland 10 shirt. Beat three defenders and won a jackal penalty. Just edges out Ciarán Frawley for the 10 shirt in this selection.
9. Jamison Gibson-Park (Leinster)
After Leinster’s slow start it was the scrum-half who kept them at the high tempo which unsettled Munster. Pounced from halfway for their opening score after showing a clean pair of heels to the chasers. Distributed well and was lively and aware throughout the game.
1. Steven Kitshoff (Ulster)
The double World Cup winner got through an awful lot of work on his Ulster debut after coming on in the 49th minute. Was involved in three scrums, all of which were rock solid, while he carried on a number of occasions. Exciting to see how much impact the 31-year-old South Africa will have on Ulster’s season.
2. Dan Sheehan (Leinster)
Another typical all-action outing from the Ireland hooker. Was solid at setpiece and took on some big carries in the loose. In a game where Leinster didn’t make the most of all opportunities presented, his trademark try off a lineout maul was crucial.
3. Andrew Porter (Leinster)
The loosehead gets the 3 shirt on this team as the best prop on display at the Aviva Stadium. Porter lasted 72 minutes of high-octane action and buzzed around on and off the ball. Made a brilliant run in the second half and won a scrum penalty.
4. Joe McCarthy (Leinster)
A candidate for player of the match, McCarthy appeared to cover every inch of grass at Lansdowne Road. Was a solid lineout option and looks to be a perfect partner for James Ryan in the Leinster engine room.
5. Jean Kleyn (Munster)
Huge shift from the Springbok World Cup winner on his first club game of the season. Made a number of big hits, constantly driving Leinster attackers backwards. May be in the conversation for captain when Graham Rowntree makes up his mind as to who will succeed Peter O'Mahony. Tadhg Beirne also strong a performer.
6. Jack Conan (Leinster)
Named man of the match and was like a player possessed. Endured a frustrating World Cup with Ireland through injury but got through the full 80 minutes here and made some big defensive plays. Beat four defenders and carried for 44 metres, top of the Leinster stats.
7. John Hodnett (Munster)
Stood out against a glamorous opposition back row and tackled his heart out, racking up Munster’s best tally with 16. Made a big play when stopping Hugo Keenan and then winning a penalty with Munster just a point behind.
8. Caelan Doris (Leinster)
Took him a while to warm up, like most of the Leinster team, but was really effective when he got going. Was the top tackler on the night with 20 and won two turnovers for good measure, one of which came with Munster threatening to steal the win late on.
