A five-year-old girl remains in a critical condition in hospital following a knife attack in Parnell Square in Dublin city centre last Thursday.
Three young children and a care worker were attacked at around 1.30pm outside a school on Parnell Square East.
A woman, aged in her 30s, who was a carer for the child, remains in a serious condition in hospital.
The two other children, a six-year-old girl and five-year-old boy have since been discharged from hospital.
A man, aged in his 50s, was arrested at the scene by gardaí before being brought to hospital with injuries.
He remains in a serious condition in hospital, gardaí say.
Gardaí previously said that they are following a "definite line of enquiry" and are not looking for anyone else at present in connection with the attack.
