In this programme, Séamus Ó Scanláin visits the historic Westbourne, Bishop's Palace, on the west side of the town of Ennis in Co. Clare, home of Bishop Fintan Monahan and residence of the Catholic bishops of Killaloe since 1919. The house once belonged to the great and the good of Ennis, until it was purchased by Bishop Michael Fogarty in 1919, a man committed to republican ideals, and bishop of Killaloe at the time. In this programme, Bishop Fintan Monahan recounts the history of the house to Séamus Ó Scanláin, as well as describing its current use
